General Information

Welcome to Elusive Dreams Photography,

I am a self taught 51 year old female photographer. Becoming a photographer has always been a dream of mine; however, for many of years this dream was elusive. After the age of 40, I met my soul mate, my best friend and husband; whom has completed my life and has helped me pursue my dream of photography. In 2003, my husband purchased my very first digital Olympus E-20 camera as a Christmas present for me, and so began my pursuit to fulfill this dream.

To date, I am a proud owner of Canon products. My camera gear consists of a digital Canon 30D, 580ex Flash, several Lens and Alien Bee Studio lighting. I spend many late night hours online, studying and learning photography techniques as I come across them. Slowly, without the ability to actually attend any schooling, I have managed to evolve my skills and the results are what you see here today. I am nowhere near being a professional photographer, but I continue to improve...My hopes and dreams are to someday produce images that will totally rock all your socks off!! :)

During this adventure of mine, I have been fortunate enough to work with several outstanding models to date. Without these models and their gracious talents, I would not be where I am today in the pursuit of this dream of mine. I thank all of you for your patience and determination to capture the images I have here in my portfolio; you have all been my inspirations and have given me the drive to continue.

With all of this said and done, now all I can do is strive to become a better photographer; and along the way help others to pursue their "Elusive Dreams" as well!
