I run a successful professional commercial studio based in the greater Boston area. I have over 15 years experience in photography, video, and film for advertising, corporate, and editorial clients. My main emphasis is on commercial, product, and editorial photography and have many nationally published images and credits. I also provide video production and media work in corporate, medical, high technology, entertainment, and music industries. I travel frequently around New England, the US, and worldwide. My studio regularly hires models and actors for our clients projects, and we occasionally work with models for in-house portfolio work, testing new techniques or sets, or just to add some creativity through change. If you are interested in working with me and my crew, please contact me directly.
Because of our hectic commercial schedule, I no longer shoot TFP/CD except for a few shoots a year. I am very selective in the test projects I take on, but if you are an experienced model that can deliver, have some great ideas, and are motivated to work with us, contact us and lets see if we can't work together. I have a professional crew, all the right equipment, and come packed with ideas, creativity, and a strong work ethic. You bring your best game, and I'll bring mine.
Some things to keep in mind....
My clients task me to find models for projects I am hired to shoot for them, and they usually have specific looks in mind. We usually use agency models due to availability and professionalism. However, for models I've worked with in the past (TFP, Paid, or otherwise), if I found them reliable I do submit them for consideration when there is a fit. But otherwise don't hire models for non-client projects, except on rare occasions. If thats the case, I contact the models directly since I am looking for a specific look, so no need to contact me with unsolicited offers .
There seems to be a trend to ask for a CD of images right after the shoot. I don't follow that trend as I want the models to get the full value of my work. Half of the creative process is done after the shoot in front of the computer. Thats where the images get their final polish. I can assure you that you will get the final edited images, and haven't failed to deliver images to a model. It's always worth the extra wait from seasoned photographers who know how to process the final images.
I also don't deliver original images, RAW files, or straight JPEGs for the same reason.
I do ask anyone that contacts me to shoot to be professional, serious about creating great images, creative, and most of all reliable and ready to follow through. I promise the same in return. I put a lot of time and effort in any shoot, whether it's a clients $15K shoot, or a TFP project for our portfolios. Having someone go through all the motions, and then bail at the last minute is distracting to me and my business, and costly. Rarely will I try again, or recommend them to other photographers.
Now that the above is out of the way....
I am very easy to work with. I like humor on the set, and try to keep people upbeat. I have a great reputation with the models I've worked with in the past, and feel confident that if you contacted any of them (and please feel free to do so), you would be more comfortable with working with me. I put 110% into all my shoots, paid or TFP.
