General Information
TO JENNA, ELIZABETH ASHURST, MARGIE, MALLORY, JESSICA FROM HOLLYWOOD MARYLAND, TIFFANY, ALISON, SHANNON FROM GETTYSBURG, and CARLY--You've all e-mailed me about shoots and it probably seems like I haven't gotten back to you. Not true! I've tried on repeated occasions but either your mailboxes are full or you've input an error when you put your e-mail addresses in OMP. I can't reach you until you correct the error. Sorry! I HAD THOUGHT THIS WENT WITHOUT SAYING BUT...MODELS - IF YOU ARE UNDER 17 MY LENS CAP DOESN'T COME OFF WITHOUT A PARENT OR GUARDIAN BEING PRESENT. THIS MEANS NO BOYFRIENDS, GIRLFRIENDS, OR FRIEND'S PARENTS ARE AN ACCEPTABLE SUBSTITUTE. SORRY BUT THIS IS FOR BOTH OUR PROTECTIONS (PARTICULARLY MINE!). I grew up in awe of Pompeo Posar but as I grew and got more comfortable with my old F3 I began to realize I'd rather shoot the raw imagery of Helmut Newton than the perfectly coiffed, perfectly made up iconography of Posar. Maybe if I live another thirty years... I enjoy shooting cowgirls, ranch hands, and horsewomen from junior casual to Lady Godiva. Victorian ladies, both of the Court and the brothel. Storyville, California boom towns, anything period. Got an idea along these lines I haven't thought of? Collaborate with me. A model recently wanted to do 50's pin-ups, sort of a semi-nude bobby soxer. I don't have the wardrobe for it, but apparently she has, so...SPECIAL PROJECT I'm beginning a series of images centered around Washington, D.C., particularly the DC Metro system. My goal is to assemble a publishable tongue-in-cheek tourist's guide by Metro to the Nation's Capitol. It would be a portfolio of images taken at each and every Metro Station showing ladies dressed in casual wear, commuter garb, and more formal wear, waiting for trains, boarding trains and disembarking trains as they go about their lives. In each image, however, the model/models would be in some state of wardrobe disassembly. In one shot you might see a commuter descending an escalator wearing a trench coat and heels, carrying a leather briefcase, and reading a vertically folded Wall Street Journal. The trench coat however is sufficiently parted to reveal that she's wearing only garter belt and hose under the coat. In another she might be disembarking a train wearing a hard hat, jeans shorts and work boots, nothing else, listening to an I-pod while carrying a large wrench. There are 86 stations in the Metro system and I'd like to capture a wide variety of looks. Let me know if you're interested. I especially want models input for wardrobe ideas. All models whose images are used in the final draft will receive full accreditation. Bill 81815 Farm 410-586-8866 Text(B'berry) 443-532-7860 or e-m bill@millcovefarm.com Y IM photos4bill
