I am a photographer, but this is not about pyrotechnics, or Photoshop. Not here.
This is about you. Your beauty, your heart, your passion, your eroticism, your desire. It is about the chances you can not get elsewhere, the strengths and beauty that is not exhibited. Anywhere.
I am not looking to either make money off girls on OMP or pay girls to shoot on OMP. I know that many girls use OMP as an immediate financial resource, but I am probably not that resource. I use OMP as another resource to see girls who have not been scouted or have been underdeveloped or not used properly. I work to present new faces, new bodies into new markets, or established markets that have overlooked them, ignored them, or did not see what I see.
This business is about looks. But not just about looks. It is about height, weight and shape. But not just about height, weight or shape.
I am looking for girls who have enough faith in themselves to take risks with me, to develop themselves and shoot as they have never shot before. Not every girl is going to be a model, or a star or a superstar. But every girl can leave with more than she came in with.
No girl can shoot with every photographer, or work with every client, but she has to trust herself enough to know who to talk to, who can help, who cares, and where is she going. Any girl who needs to know about money and the job, without knowing who she is working with, is not going anywhere. Fashion, beauty, lifestyle, portrait, editorial, clients, even adult work has different quality levels.
I am looking to get the best girls, to the top levels, with my work.
When I work with someone, I have to trust that they are reliable, beautiful, passionate, focused. They have to trust that I bring out the best in them and present it to the world in the best possible way.
Presenting someone to Maxim, Playboy, Vogue, Allure, Sports Illustrated, Victorias Secret, takes trust, not money. I have to trust that the girl is not overweight, hung over, reliable, bitchy, or a prima donna. I can only know that by seeing her. I can not pay to find out. Nor will any client, any agency or any magazine. They can get any girl, anywhere in the world.
If I contact someone it is because I think they have a chance. It is a step in a process.
One example illustrates this point. I get calls from agents, agencies, clients, designers all the time. One job was for the box covers of hair products. The company was looking for 25 girls of different complexions and hair colors. Each girl was to be paid $10,000. I placed seven girls. But I knew, or photographed each of those girls. The company called me the next week looking for another casting.
