     General Information 




    Photography has always fascinated me with its ability to make visible something that is not observable. It can be a moment in time. It can be something so small it doesn’t exist for me. It can be an historical event. It can be something I wouldn’t or shouldn’t look at and there it is in a picture and I am looking at it.

    I am curious about the information that is gleaned by documenting an object in detail. I am captivated by the social and cultural considerations in the choice of objects I photograph. I find gratification in selecting the correct details.

    This body of work represents the refinement of my vision of the important details of the subjects I work with. The body parts, tattoos, piercing and scarifications are documentations of today. These images are the detailed examination of a very small part of the world around me.

    I offer these images as a mirror and a window. The window shows something you have never seen and the mirror allows you to give your meaning to the image.

    I document bodies with a 4”x5” camera on black and white film. I craft 20”x 24” black and white, gelatin silver, prints.






    I am inviting anyone interested in working with me on a TFP basis to contact me.

    I am particularly interested in heavy body modification and anyone that is pregnant.

    All others are also invited to be a part.

    Here is another TFCD possibility.

    If you model for me, I will produce a “content” set for you for your website. I will do it digitally and you will leave with the CD.

    I have two images selected to be in a group exhibition in Chelsea, NY, for January 2010. The show is curated by Francis Naumann of the Francis M. Naumann Gallery Fine Art at 24 West 57th street, NYC.

    The title of the show is: THE VISIBLE VAGINA.

    Given the conditions of use for OMP I cannot post the selected images. If, however, you would like to model for me and would consider it if you can see the images, please email me and I will get back to you. This would be on a TFP basis.
