General Information

I am an independent photographer who helps build model portfolios. I charge reasonable rates and am occasionally available for "Time For CD" work (TFCD). My specialty is women in fashion, swimsuits, lingerie, and glamorous nudes.

Nationwide is based in Corona, CA (not too far from San Diego and Los Angeles). It is a part-time business and, as such, may not be available for your specific time needs, but I try to be as flexible as possible.

My primary business is market research. My company, Nationwide Surveys, seeks professional, friendly, attractive assistants to help with promotional-type projects. Projects are held throughout the United States and Canada, although the majority of our projects are in the greater Los Angeles area.

Most of the projects fall into one of two similar categories:

1. Interceptors: People who "intercept" attendees at shows, conferences, retail environments, sporting events, etc. and ask them to take a short survey. They stop people attending the events and ask questions such as "How did you hear about today's event?", "Are you a season ticket holder?", "We are considering offering a special package including ____ . Would you be interested in this package?", etc. We use PDAs (Palm Pilots) to collect the data. Many of these take place at sporting events. At the sporting events, interceptors usually wear outfits similar to cheerleader uniforms (e.g., a tank top and short skirt or Capris, weather allowing) which we provide. Typical pay is $16 to $25/hour.

2. Assistants: People who attend higher-end client (e.g., Fortune 500) events. These are higher paying and simpler. We need someone to answer questions for respondents who are paid to attend an event to evaluate a product, vehicle, etc. These people also recharge and clean the screen of PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants - Palm Pilots) between respondents. This could easily be accomplished by temps, but we seek friendly, personable talent to ensure the client's satisfaction, and pay accordingly. These projects generally go to those who have shown their capability in other lower-end projects. Pay is usually about $200 - $250/eight-hour day.

Since some of our clients have very specific size or appearance requirements (e.g., Swedish clients may want folks who appear Swedish, etc.), we ask for typical model statistics.
