As a once full time professional photographer, who now shoots on his days off, next to my another job, I pick and choose my work.
My past includes, 20 years of commercial work in Europe; - including a Bachelors Degree in Photography at a prestigious German photography school; a Master in International Relations; and well over 15 years as a military senior broadcast journalist and photographer. In 1975-76, I worked as a assistant for the German Playboy Edition, with a European photographer and later, as a Commercial Photographer; Marketing Director and finally Media Affairs Manager.
shoot Commercial, Fashion, Editorial, Beauty/Glamour/Nude, and Fine Art.
I am originally from California, moved to Europe as a soldier, then came back and lived in Northern California as a Ski Instructor. Then moved back to Germany. Now I live in Florida, but am seldom home.
Ask about my rates, they are very fair. I will consider TFCD with select models.
I thrive on my experiences, past and present, and I am very accustomed to working with new or beginning models- like I said, I love shooting. Hell Id flip burgers if I had to as long as I have my cameras. I live, breathe and dream photography.
If it has anything to do with photography, journalism or marketing, - Ive done it, attempted it or tried it. I just love doing it and want to keep doing it. From Still and Video commercials; (of), --people, print, editorial, fashion, product, beauty, and travel photography!! As well as nimble fingers at the Avid system and making my own digital prints.
All of this over the years has led me to a few mistakes,
my number one rule is for female models wanting to work with me is;-you must be at least 18.
-- PLEASE, - NO IFs, ANDs OR BUTs !!!---FOR LEGAL REASONS, I DO NOT WORK WITH MODELS THAT ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18, PERIOD!! EVEN WITH PARENTS OR GUARDIANS.
If you are good at 16-17, just wait. And you are good now, image how good youll be at 18 and 19.
--I dont need the drama or legal concerns.!!!!
I like shooting people, -I like shooting sexy images with product photography. As some say sex sells...(it does!) Most know it as tease photography. My work includes artistic fine art photography, some similar to paintings that some of the old masters produced. Works such as, --Amadeo Modigliani,-- painted. Its erotically, and his strokes of light just in the right place leads to the erotic nature of the painting...
I love to capture that kind of art but digitally in a photographic format!!! I also like portrait.
So I'm open to -- avaunt' guard-- and futuristic thinking photography, and highly stylized artistic projects, commercial, beauty, fashion, and will consider more risky shoots ( lingerie/pinup/implied and full nudity) depending on the intended product and use.
Currently I'm interested in photographing models for various projects mostly print work, publications and web work; -- such as; car calendars; product advertising; lingerie catalogs, and currently trying to capture a new bikini catalog !
I'm always looking for new opportunities to work with new models, (18+ over only-!!)- If you are willing to work hard with an older experienced -old school- still and video photographer and can remain totally open minded during a shoot- holler back at me!
