Hi. Thank you for viewing my profile and portfolio.

My name is Jae Lawrence. I've been taking photographs as a hobby for, many years. I decided to become a professional photographer a couple of years ago and have slowly been working towards that goal by planning, studying (I am enrolled in a professional photographers program) and practicing. I am ready to start "bustin' loose."

I specialize in People and Event Photography. I have photographed Biker Events (Bikeweek, Biketoberfest...) in Florida since 1989. I also photograph Renaissance Festivals, Spring Break, Company Functions and many local events. I also volunteer doing photography for worthy causes.

This year I decided to branch out and am creating portraits of individuals and families. In the portrait arena, I am interested in traditional, period, catalog, creative, boudoir and artistic nudes such as you might see in playboy.

I'm looking to work with models that have some level of posing experience, while I provide quality images on a TFCD / TFP basis. Model's escorts are welcome to attend these sessions as long as they do not interfere with the photographic process.

I prefer location photography. I will come to you, or a location of your choosing. I am set up to be 90% portable. My studio lights are stored in a travel case for convenient grab them and go, but I need a wall outlet as I don't have studio light batteries. My backdrop stand is also portable. I prefer to photograph people at locations that have meaning to them. Pretty locations that have no meaning for the photographic subjects detract from the subject. Pretty locations that have meaning for the photographic subjects provides you an emotional connection. Besides, if the only thing you get out of the TFP/CD are the images for your port and personal use, they should be images that mean something to you besides just being great images for your port.
