I'm a portraitist turned fine art / erotic nude photographer. I'm currently building my portfolio, looking for new models with which to work. I'm interested in working with all ethnicities and a variety of body shapes and sizes. I'm seeking models who are also interested in creating fine art nudes. Collaborative and/or experienced models are welcome, but I'm just as interested in working with amateur models.
At present, I'm primarily interested in making fine art black-and-white/sepia/duotone nude and semi-nude images, with a mix of glamour, casual, and portraits/headshots thrown in for varietal spice. Initially, I'm focusing exclusively on female models, but I'm also very interested in working with athletic males. Some artists I admire (and will attempt to borrow from) include Ritts, Avedon, Newton, Huttenhain, Garrett and Rigon.
Note that I also shoot maternity work, and would love to work with pregnant models on artistic maternity shots, including nudes.
I recently travelled to the Chicago, IL area had the pleasure of working with two fabulous local models: Lapis (Model ID #95886) and Kylie Clark (Model #200301). I'd encourage anyone to seek them out, for both of them were fantastic to work with. I have updated my profile with a few new images and will update with more throughout the end of the year.
Back in the greater Seattle area, I've recently worked three fantastic models on OMP. Most recently, I shot with the beautiful and exotic Naveire (ModelID #127915), who helped me open the door to my latest project. Naveire has an incredible attitude, great sense of humor, fantastic skin tone, and was prompt and professional for our session. Just before that shoot, I worked with the spirited, professional, and incredibly versitile Victoria Anisova (ModelID #15020), who provided me with my most productive shoot yet, giving me more different looks and printable images than any previous model. Just prior to that, I worked with the adventurous and voluptuous Nicole Amy (ModelID #207669) who broadened my professional horizons with a number of unique poses in a location shoot. I'll be adding images to my porfolio from each of these shoots in the coming weeks.
I remain on the lookout for additional models with whom to shoot and/or partner on projects.
I believe that artists -- painters, models, dancers, photographers alike -- need to band together, helping one another to build their careers. We each bring something to the creative process, and should acknowledge the value that we can add to one another through partnership. As such, I prefer working relationships which are based on mutual goals, fair trade, and/or shared ownership over those which are strictly commercial.
If you are a model and would like to create some artwork together, let me know which of the following you'd like to do: A) Have me shoot you in a style or setting that builds your portfolio (with prints + digital images provided to you) in exchange for posing for me to help me build my portfolio -- e.g. artistic and erotic nudes. B) Sit for an artistic and erotic nude shoot in exchange for prints and/or a share of copyright. C) Discuss a strictly commercial arrangement (money for modelling), in which you receive no prints or future entitlement.
Everyone involved in an artistic and creative endeavor should take something positive away from it. I strive to have the models I work with enjoy the experience and love the results.
