I do a combination of fashion and portraiture, based in Greensboro, NC, where I work from a three room suite that includes a studio, a separate wardrobe (well stocked with carefully collected items), and separate office space, and also love to shoot on location. I get regular help from several assistants and collaborating MUAs and hair stylists. After decades of experience in fine art, photojournalism, and nature photography, I began focusing on portraits and fashion several years ago. I welcome any and all escorts, and expect models to be accompanied by either one of my assistants, or an escort of their choice.
Much of my work goes to photo.net, the world's largest photographers' site, where I am regularly rated in the top 20 fashion photographers out of approximately 800,000 professionals and serious amateurs worldwide (userid 4083411) and on MM, where I am #1011671, and where you can learn more about my background and style.
I have photographed scores of models in creating, updating, and improving portfolios, and I do promotional portraiture for professionals in various fields. I aim for the highest level of technical craftsmanship, integrity, artistry, reliability, and creative collaboration. I am always looking especially for fabulous new faces, and people with genuine artistic aspirations, reliable communication skills, and congenial personalities, of every age and gender.
Please note that for TF* shoots, I am having to limit the result to twelve fully processed (and, if desired, printed) images from a shoot (negotiable in some cases). Also, I do not give out unedited images, always shoot RAW for best quality, include my logo gently and unobtrusively watermarked on images (unless the model or agent wants to buy the copright), and require standard model releases, including verbiage to explicitly give models promotional rights. I only shoot underaged models accompanied by a legal parent or guardian.
I give discounts to students, actors, authors, and musicians who need promotional shots, and my rack rates (especially for multi-shoot projects) are extremely reasonable- please inquire here or by e-mail.
