General Information

Hello, thanks for viewing my portfolio.

I'm a part-time professional photographer. Whilst my main career is as a marketing communications manager and graphic designer I also freelance as a photographer. I have a good deal of experience, undertaking PR shots, general product 'pack shots' and construction industry specific work for commission. Model photography has so far only been a hobby to me.

I'm working on broadening my experience of shooting people; I want to experiment with different styles and create evocative, engaging images; I want to do something truly creative with a bit of soul. The only way to do this is practice, practice, practice. Working freely with a model experimenting to capture what I'm striving for, without the time and financial constraints of commissioned commercial work is to me the best way to grow. This is photography for photography's sake.

Secondly, recently I have been submitting images to stock libraries with some success in sales and now want to expand this with 'people' images. So far I haven't submitted people pictures as I've never shot to sell, so have never obtained the necessary model releases. So, I'm looking for models who want to gain experience and develop their portfolios. I'm offering one or more relaxed, extensive shoot(s), covering a variety of styles but including work shot within the distinctive constraint of commercial stock material. This can be either location or studio work (available space permitting, I don't have a permanent studio location) on a time for CD basis (full high resolution images supplied). All I ask is that you are prepared to sign a model release so I can submit the images for sale. Ultimately I would like to work with models on a collaboratively on this, on a profit share basis.
