OMP Pro File - Erotic Model Sativa Verte Proves to Be Vivacious and Versatile | by Elias of AllStarPhotography OMP Member #10270

Sativa Verte (OMP Model #32122)

Sativa Verte (OMP Model #32122) is a traveling erotic model that earned her reputation in modeling because of her reliability. "I am known to take last-minute bookings and my motto is to be early is to be on time, and to be on time is to be late!"

The New York model is very outgoing, and because of that she has been assigned leadership and solo positions for promotional events.

"I'm very hard-working and have tried many different types of modeling assignments which has helped me a develop a versatile portfolio. I'm not afraid to take risks, or take on challenges."

She really loves to travel and have been able to work all over the country and abroad for modeling assignments. Also, besides being beautiful on the outside, she's smart on the inside.

"I like to think I can help teach some new things to amateur photographers. Since I devote 110% into my modeling efforts, I can make the shoot feel quick and efficient, and because I am eager to learn new things, I always pay attention to details."

Sativa entered the recent One Model Place Portrait Competition to give her portfolio extra exposure on OMP. She says,

"I'm very proud of the photos in my profile, and wanted to see how they held up in comparison to the other talented models competing. Plus, because I have a platinum membership, it allows me to enter competitions, so I really enjoy taking advantage of that! And really, the prizes are quite enticing! Who wouldn't want to win a free membership or more?"

The image that won the contest has a very bittersweet back-story.

"The shoot that day was sad because my photographer, Jack Adar, announced he was closing his studio, but it was really, really sweet because he wanted to have one last wrap-up shoot with his favorite models. And I was requested to be part of this shoot, which was very flattering. I also love this photo shoot because I was made up by my favorite Long Island make-up artist, Erin. She's great to work with!"

Despite her calm demeanor in the photo, Sativa was kept on her toes throughout the session.

"During the shoot, I was alternating between outfits with another model. She'd wear an outfit while I was in the changing room, then after 10 shots I'd hear Jack scream, "NEXT" and then I ran in with a different look! He was quicker than us but we kept up and were all happy in the end."

She has some advice for other models to consider while shooting portraits.

"First of all, make certain to work with great, reliable people. Make sure to be well rested and don't party the night before! Also, don't choose wild print tops! It is better to choose tops that are subdued because your look should be what dominates."

The resident admits she really "jump-started" her modeling career by joining One Model Place almost five years ago. Once she joined OMP, Sativa was able to network outside of her Long Island neighborhood and finally make the connections that she desired.

"One Model Place has helped my career by providing me with exposure to millions of people, which has helped me network worldwide. All the great functions and ease of use on managing the portfolio has helped me to keep a constantly updated portfolio and also to create alternate ways of promoting myself. Also, OMP has also helped me meet many reputable photographers and videographers which has given me opportunities to go to be on TV and in print- not to mention allowing me to travel, party, meet famous people and create life long friendships!"

She has some good advice for photographers when working with models.

"Don't be vague with models, and you won't have any problems. Provide details in writing, and don't feel bad giving your model honest feedback. Always remember that giving direction will help you to avoid bad shots, so help your model learn what she is doing right (or wrong) in front of the camera."

"Keep your model comfortable. Have water available at all times and take short breaks. Listen to the model's artistic inspiration! This gives you a chance to get the model to do something she is happy with, and perhaps something new for you to photograph.

"Finally, some photographers use tearsheets or photos to explain ideas or looks they are going for. This is a great idea for newbies and helps to achieve a specific shot idea quickly. Then show some results to your model, either before or after the shoot. It will benefit you both to see what looks great and where you both need to improve."
