Interview with Natalie Nicole (OMP Model #82832) | by Elias of All Star Photography - OMP Member #10270

Natalie Nicole (OMP Model #82832)

Fulltime Model and Mother Gets "Exposed" as Host of New Reality Show

OneModelPlace members were first introduced to wild child Natalie Nicole (OMP Model #82832) during an early incarnation of OMP's reality show "Shut Up and Model." Natalie Nicole and five other glamour models spent a week together shooting in exotic locations and partying into the night. Whenever Natalie Nicole was around, you just knew something outrageous was going to happen.

She recalls,
"My 'Shut Up and Model' experience was absolutely life-changing. It was that project that really pushed me towards pursuing more television and film work. I grew as a person through that experience, and I am blessed to call the people at OMP my friends."
Since appearing on SUAM, Natalie Nicole has amassed quite a resume of on-camera credits. Other reality shows she have been featured on include "Supermodel Showdown," "Where's The Party at?" (which she also co-produced), "Wild on E!," "Hawaiian Tropic Spring Break Tours," and a series for Telemundo.

NN is still up to her wild ways, as she takes on hosting duties for "The Ladies Of Lingerie EXPOSED." The show premiered on Events-iN-Demand Pay-Per-View in 63 million homes throughout North America on July 25. Over 1,500 different cable providers are carrying the show. It will be airing again on PPV this October with a run on Video-On-Demand and then digital subscription channel, "Too Hot For TV", soon to follow.

Revealing that she has always wanted to model, Natalie Nicole participated in beauty pageants as a child. Getting an early start in the industry helped her keep a realistic perspective on the business.
"I am not your typical model. I am definitely not the 'diva' type. I am extremely laid back, and I love to laugh. I love anything and everything that is classy-sexy."
Natalie Nicole truly lives the modeling lifestyle that most newcomers aspire to achieve – including plenty of parties, club nights, and celebrity encounters.
"My lifestyle as a model and actress is extremely fast-paced and quite lavish. The parties are excellent, but can get really old really quick. I go to all major events, including the Super Bowl, movie premieres, the Oscars, charity events, etc. It's a great way to network. If it weren't for networking and my own self-promotion, I wouldn't have a career. I have had no help from managers or agents. I have made several celebrity friends on my adventures in Hollywood. They are all just like us -- normal people... only with big wallets!"

The model somehow balances her spontaneous social life with her responsibilities as a single parent.
"My lifestyle is actually pretty crazy. I am a mother of a beautiful little girl -- she is 6 years old now! So when I am not working and traveling all my time goes to her. She is my sunshine!"
Her latest work assignment shows off her hosting skills.
"My new show airing now is called 'The Ladies Of Lingerie EXPOSED.' I am the host of the show that takes the audience on photo shoots and out on the town with 12 gorgeous models in Boston, Massachusetts."
The program features well-known photographer Andrew Swaine (OMP Member #4185) and his unique style of shooting gorgeous women.
"We take you behind the scenes as the girls go from sexy lingerie to Playboy-style nudes. The show is very sexy with an air of class. I'm proud to have been part of such a great project. The talent that I worked with was amazing. I left that show with lifelong friendships, and that's priceless."
She was called to do the project by Derek LeDoux, executive producer for www.photoshootmagazine.com, on whom she made a lasting impression.
"Derek and I met at the Supermodel Tour on a totally different project. He loved my personality and when he was in meetings regarding this show he said he knew exactly who he wanted for the hosting position. I was honored. That only goes to show that it pays not to be a diva!"
Natalie Nicole's modeling experience was a big help while pursuing an acting career?
"Modeling has helped me really develop who I am. Modeling is a form of acting – like a type of silent acting. When you are modeling, you are portraying an emotion or an action. So all my modeling has really helped me develop my acting skills. I never really thought modeling could help you when it comes to acting until now."
As an actress, she recently made her feature film debut in the big-screen comedy "Wild Hogs."
"That movie was absolutely amazing to work on! Just being on the same set as John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, William H. Macy, and Tim Allen was so surreal. Even though my part was not huge, for them to feature me on the television trailer was insane... I must have done something right, huh?"
Natalie Nicole has a new acting project coming out soon.
"I just finished another film entitled 'Abbey of Thelema,' which comes out Oct. 7. I play Francesca, the sexy Italian who is the landlord's girlfriend. This is the story of Allister Crowley. It was a lot of fun working on this film. Ron Jeremy actually had a role as the priest. He was a hoot to work with."
She offers the following advice for aspiring models and actors.
"My advice to any aspiring model or actor is 'If you can dream it, it will come true. Work hard and never quit. There was a time when I almost gave up. However, you must not believe everything you hear. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Never go meet a new photographer alone -- always bring a friend. This business can be really shady, and you never want to be taken advantage of if you can help it."
Her advice for aspiring hosts and spokesmodels is a good suggestion in general.
"To be successful in anything, you must PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. I have come a long, long way... If you think you are good, you probably suck! I watched footage of myself hosting a ghost-hunting show and at the time it felt great. I nailed it. Then I saw it...I was completely disappointed in myself. It just shows to never get comfortable with your performance level -- there is always improvements that can be made."
Her wildest photo shoot experience was on the set of SUAM.
"My wildest photo shoot experience would have to have been when I was filming 'Shut Up and Model.' We were in Homestead, Florida in this jungle preserve where they had many exotic animals. We were in hair and makeup, and the animals really didn't like the camera crew or models occupying their habitat… so the animals started attacking us! The horses went nuts and tried jumping the fence. I was sooo freaked out! It made for a funny story, though."
She has another eye-opening experience to share from her past.
"I was filming in Mexico with 'Wild On E!' and 'Hawaiian Tropic Spring Break Tour' and I decided I was going to do the skydiving segment. Of course, since I am not licensed, I had to jump tandem. Well, my instructor's name was Antonio Montana -- yes that is his real name. I was tightly strapped to him while wearing my Hawaiian Tropic bathing suit. We were just about to jump out of the plane right over the heart of Acapulco, and he asked if the straps all felt secure. I said, 'Yes... except what is that in my back?' He replied, 'No worries... that is just nature!' So I jumped out of an airplane with a very excited instructor -- How funny!"
