Sexy 'Giuliani Girl' Gets Her Big Break Through OneModelPlace.com
Everyone at One Model Place has a crush on Obama Girl.
Amber Lee Ettinger (OMP Model #32605) became an overnight Internet sensation
after being featured in BarelyPolitical.com's viral video "I've Got a Crush on Obama."
Now meet Giuliani Girl, aka Adelina Kristina (OMP Model #136890).
This feisty fan of Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani stars with Obama Girl in the latest video from
BarelyPolitical.com, entitled
"Debate '08: Obama Girl vs. Giuliani Girl." The battle royale between the two campaigning cuties and their entourages includes a podium faceoff, a NYC sidewalk smackdown, and a pillow fight.
Like Amber Lee, Adelina Kristina was cast in the project through OneModelPlace.com, the world's largest online modeling and talent website. The talented model and actress is also a photographer in her own right.
The stunning beauty got started in modeling by entering pageants and local contests at a young age.
"While doing this, I started to get offered runway and paid jobs. Then I started doing it professionally -- after being ripped off by a 'modeling school' at age 13, of course. After the first couple of paying jobs, comp cards and go-sees, I got interested in photography. And I am now experienced behind the camera as well as in front of it!"
Along with the Giuliani Girl exposure, Adelina Kristina is featured in X-Ray jeans national ads in Macy's and Nordstorm stores. She is looking forward to doing more acting in addition to her modeling assignments.
The New Yorker was invited to join the Barely Political video production after being submitted via her profile on One Model Place.
"I got involved with the Obama Girl vs. Giuliani Girl production because of OMP! Yes, that's right! I got all the the audition information through One Model Place."
The audition process was relatively easy.
"I went to the casting call. They were casting many girls for the video. Then I got called back for the lead position. It was so awesome! After that, they sent me the link to the song and I loved it! Then I had to dance in public, and they loved me! It was so much fun!"
Adelina Kristina also had a lot of fun doing the video shoot with Amber Lee and the other actresses.
"The shoot was so great, we basically ran around New York City dancing and singing. We even went to the I-Phone release event and everyone there saw the Giuliani Girls versus the Obama Girls. They were rooting us on, and, well, hating or loving us! Amber is such a professional, and she did a great job - again!"
For those of you who are curious, A.K. is genuinely a Giuliani supporter in real life.
"I think that Giuliani did great things for New York City and I respect and look up to his leadership." Other celebrities she has a crush on include Leonardo Dicaprio, along with Hillary Clinton – "Just kidding!" she added about the latter.
The goals Adelina Kristina have set for herself are definitely doable.
"My goal as a photographer is to make art and get rich while doing it. I really love shooting, it's such a passion of mine. So as long as I am shooting, my goals will keep growing. Same for modeling -- I love being in front of the camera. I love the camera... hopefully it loves me? My goal is to be a model who gives it her all when any camera is pointed at her, therefore making me pleasant and fun and professional to work with!"
She offers the following advice for aspiring models just starting out in the business.
"Work it, work hard, work out, eat healthy, make the camera believe in you -- and make sure you stay safe!" Here is her suggestions for aspiring photographers. "Don't let anyone put you down. Whatever you shoot that is pleasing to your eye is art to you, and probably to others too, so just keep shooting -- especially if it makes you happy. Whether it's a hobby or a job, you have to love it!"
Speaking of love, she has nothing but high praise for One Model Place.
"OMP has helped my career in many ways. The website has plenty of castings and great photographers and other models to collaborate with. I got the X-Ray jean campaign because of One Model Place, and of course I wouldn't be Giuliani Girl without it. That's a big deal! Thank you so much to everyone at OMP for making this website!"
