Subject: Just got back from Las Vegas    -    » Comment/Reply (click here to upgrade)
I had such a great time in Vegas. After getting back from Tampa and doing a fun bodypainting project, I drove out to Las Vegas. My first shoot was with Lester (a regular photographer I shoot with). He has such great outfits and it is always fun shooting with him. I shoot with him again in Jan, 2007. I also shot with James from Bondage Spa. I haven't shot with him since Seattle so it was a real treat to catch up with industry talk and such. The next shoot was with Shutterbug Studio. I have wanted to shoot with Randy for some time. It was really fun talking to him and he was a real blast working with him, too. We got some amazing go go girl shots as well as some fineart nudes and a little fashion action. Valley of Fire is a great location to shoot and one of my favorites. I will be shooting with him again. My last shoot was with Eric who I have worked with before. He is a real sweetheart and we shot some cool ideas in his studio. The end of my trip was some celebration parties. I had a wonderful time. I didn't want to come home yet, but there I was in my car Sunday morning driving back to Los Angeles. sigh. Next big trip is Chicago. I am really looking forward to it. :)

I booked the hair show and am loving my new hair. The kept it long but it looks more up-to-date. I will be postine some images from new shoots shorty after my AZ shoot.

Well, I went to an audition for Alterna and booked a job with the hair show. Don't worry, my hair didn't get chopped off. It is still long and actually full of some really cool layers. I would say it gives me a more modern edgy look and have only had good comments about it. I will be shooting in NY towards the end of Feb and possibly will be in a model show in England in early March. I will keep you updated and let you know. I have learned to just wait and see because things can fall through. New York I will be going for sure. I enjoy NY and look forward to the cold weather. It is way too sunny in California. I had a great time shooting with Lester in the desert. We usually shoot together in Vegas in Jan., and I was amazed that for once we weren't dealing with high winds or extremely cold weather. It was actually sunny skies and a nice temperature for the desert. Lester is known for his shoots in deserts with very colorful and different kinds of clothing which he gets from the thrift stores. Personally, I have found some great wardrobe for modeling in there and at such a cheap cost...something to keep in mind if you are a model.

My favorite thing we shot was with me in the fake 'FRO. I will have a picture posted in my OMP profile very soon so you can see how silly I can be. :)

I got back to Los Angeles in one piece, but have a bit of the flu going on right now. There are some exciting things coming up, so I will be sure to post on my blog as things become more concrete. Hope you find these blogs entertaining. :)

I am looking forward to this year and with my b-day on the 25th of this month, (I'll be 39), no regrets. I love what I do and am looking forward to working with new people as well as the people I have worked with before. :) I'll try to be good about adding interestings that happen and not make this too terribly boring, Cheers!
