This past summer has been a wonderful experience! I got to do several really fun shoots with some really wonderful photographers and models. I made a new friend in Meghan Ashleigh 252499. She is a great person....outgoing and fun! We had a great time shooting together and I can't wait to work with her again. Her Mom, Karen of Kateybug Photography is also a really great person and wonderful photographer. I sure hope our trip to DC in October pans out so I can spend time with them both again.
My family did the whole Disney/Epcot thing and that was a lot of fun too! Although if we had it to do over we would probably pick any other time of year than summer to go! LOL WOW.....I thought it was HOT her in the desert but man the humidity makes it feel alot hotter in Florida than Palm Springs.
Anyway school is back in session and I really like my classes and most of my teachers and I think I will try to make the very most of this school year.
I take the test for my drivers permit in about two weeks and I am really excited, can't wait to start driving!!

Of course here in Palm Springs area "summer" comes early and stays late but what I really mean is only two more days until school is out! Well......actually I took a summer school class to get ahead in my studies for next year but at least it is only a 3 week course. Got 4 photoshoots coming up, two weeks at Christian/Babysitting camp in the Big Bear area and then vacation in Florida. Also looking forward to meeting in person a couple of the models I have been corresponding with and so admire here on OMP!!!!!

This is going to be a busy but really great summer! Hope everyone is enjoying their summers also!

Have any of you seen the Musical "Wicked"? What an awesome show! My Mom and I went on a girls weekend to LA with 2 of my cousins and 3 of my Aunts to see the show. It was sooooo good and we had sooooo much fun. Whenever my Mom gets with her cousins, it is always a great time!

Aquamarine is a beautiful light blue-green stone in it's top color form. A nice stone will be clear, without visible flaws.
Aquamarine is derived from the Latin, "beryllus aquamarinus", meaning resembling seawater. It is traditionally a sailor's tailsman. Some commerically available aqua is treated with heat, to improve its color. Such treatments do not affect the stone's strength, or value. Aqua & Emerald are both in the beryl family of stones.
