I had a great time shooting lifestyle golf photos with photographer Montana Pritchard in SC yesterday...you can expect to see the photos in magazines like Sports Illustrated and various golf magazines...the images will probably also be on the web and maybe aired as stills on television. I'm excited to get the tear sheet - the PGA has been waiting for the photos and they will probably start popping up next month. I'll let everyone know when they're out! :)

This past fall I did a shoot for a book cover....well, the book came out in December, but I didn't find out until later because I was in boot camp then. Anyways, the book is out now and is called 'The Essential Guide for Choosing a Martial Arts School' by Jeff Mims. This is extra cool because I'm a martial artist! You can see the image in my portfolio or look the book up on Amazon. :)

Opal & Tourmaline are both represenative of this month. Opals are usually opaque white stones with rainbow color specks or flashes that play over the surface. They can be found in breathtaking form! Tourmaline is a transparent stone, usually occuring in shades of pinks & greens.
Opals are thought to possess the virtues of all the stones whose colors appear there. The Roman senator Nonius chose exile rather than surrendering an Opal to Mark Antony. Tourmaline comes from the Sanskrit "turamali".
