PLEASE READ PART 1 BELOW FIRST

Photographers, agencies, casting directors, etc. who use the newer template can also display any active Casting Calls, which they have posted in our Casting Call section, right on their own profile. To see an example of where this will display on your profile, please check out OMP Profile-7844-Sam Dixon Photography and look between the Acknowledgements and Uploaded Image sections. Visitors to your portfolio can then click on the Casting Call link for more information regarding the casting call.

To take advantage of this wonderful alternative way to display your information and images on your profile:

-Log into your OMP profile
-Click on the "Manage My Profile" tab (located at the top of the OneModelPlace header banner)
-On the "Manage My Profile" page, click on the blue "Preferences" tab
-On the "Preferences" page, click on the "Change Portfolio Style" link
-In the new window that pops up, you will see 3 dropdown fields (Image Display, Image Size and If Showcases display on my Models' or Photographers' portfolios, also display on mine)
-Make your own combinations of selections from the choices provided in each dropdown
-To finalize your selections, simply click on the "Update" button

Please Note: If you select Large Thumbnails, the first time you select this template; it may take over a minute for the system to upgrade all of your images. Please be patient.

That is it... you're done! Go check out your profile now. In most cases, members using the newer template, see a marked difference in acknowledgements, referrals and even job offers.

Did you know that as Platinum or Platinum Plus members, you can change the way your portfolio looks on OneModelPlace. The newer template not only gives your portfolio a "classy look" but allows you to display items that the standard template cannot.

For example, have you ever noticed that some profiles are broken down into categories (like Artistic, Swimwear, etc…) instead of displaying all their images in a single large group? Displaying images in individualized categories is an excellent feature when you have numerous images (especially over 100 images) on your OneModelPlace profile. Additionally, you can choose which images will display as your lead image in each category (more about that aspect of this feature in future newsletters). The newer template has the added benefit of allowing those members or visitors who may still have dial-up internet connections to download and view your profile quicker and easier.

Probably one of the best reasons to use this template is that you can select to display larger thumbnail images. This truly makes your images jump off the page and grab the viewers' attention.

Also, by using the newer template, recently awarded showcases (up to the last 3) will display between your Personal Homepage link and your Acknowledgements (we will talk more about Acknowledgements in future editions of this newsletter). This feature is a great way to display some of your higher quality work that has been selected by various OneModelPlace Staff members. Also, those visiting your page can also have an opportunity to view those showcases that have been awarded to members that you have collaborated with on past photo shoots (Please note: the corresponding member, who has been awarded a showcase MUST insert your OMP portfolio number into the appropriate slot in the image information for the showcase in order for it to display on your portfolio).

Could you possibly get any better? I know it's a learning experience every time, but I don't think there's much more for you to learn! I've always admired your portfolio from day one! It says on my profile member since 2005, however, I've been here since 2003. Good luck to you in your life's adventures!
