Original Final

Ashley on the rocks
Another shot of Ashley, this time in a Fiu Fiu www.fiufiu.com Nua Vstring Brazilian bikini, laying on a boulder and facing the late afternoon sun. The line from the model to the photographer is roughly 20 degrees off a straight-on view of the sun; nonetheless, Ashley was keeping her eyes closed until just before each photo was taken.

Step One:With border and sharpening
Again, a simple pose that shows the model’s marvelous curves. But extending her left leg flattens her left buttock and drawing her foot up thickens her thigh. The solution? Photoshop.

Step two: Smoothing the skin
After the batch processing, you can use the same Quick Mask technique described earlier to blur the skin and add noise. The eyes have also been sharpened as in Ashley and the Dirty Bird.

Step three: Healing the wrinkles
One os the by-products of shooting in the sun, even late afternoon sun, is that the shadows are strong. In this case, Ashley has strong shadow lines across the small of her back.

To remove them, choose the Healing Brush (J), select a lighter area of skin as a reference for the tone and texture (Alt-J or Alt-right click) then step through the shadow area and left-click at each point until the shadow is reduced. This takes practice, but unlike the Clone tool, it does a better job of retaining the skin texture rather than smoothing it away. You might need to do a bit of Clone tool work to even out the results of the Healing Brush.

The light, the pose, and Ashley's very fit body have all conspired to make her left thigh and buttock look thicker and flatter than they are. This is the best possible justification for Liquify. Choose Filter/Liquify and, using the same settings as before - mode stiff, brush pressure 50 - with a brush size of 50, centering the brush on the top edge of her left thigh, gently flatten the thigh with two or three downward drags along the length of her thigh. Do the opposite with her left buttock, gently lifting the edge up at two or three points along its top edge.

Step 4: Saturation by contrast
This photograph is very clean. The flyaway hairs are not obtrusive, so you can leave them. All that remains is the small boost in saturation via the Image/Adjustments/Brightness-Contrast touch up. Leave the Brightness alone and raise the contrast to +15.
