The Random Farms Kids Theater (as featured in The New York Times, the FOX News Channel, the Wall Street Journal, and at Madison Square Garden in “The Wizard of Oz”) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, dedicated to providing young people with musical theater training and performance opportunities.
The theater is currently looking for a dance teacher to teach beginning and intermediate jazz and tap on Saturday and Sunday mornings. All applicants must be high-energy, friendly and excellent with young people. Classes are held at The Random Farms Performing Arts Center in Elmsford (approx. 45 minutes from NYC). Opportunity to create your own dance program (by expanding from these classes) is an option for those looking to take on more of a leadership role.
Interested candidates should email resume and cover letter to email@example.com. Pay is $40/hr. Teachers must provide their own transportation. Please note your transportation situation (i.e. if you have a car, how far away you are, etc.) and availability.
Interviews will be conducted via phone. Those being further considered will be asked to do a 45-minute unpaid work session with a small group of young people in NYC.
