Handsome, sensitive, romantic, poetic, yet with a practical side, Mid to late 20s (tenor) (sings 5 songs)



Rodolphe

Sophisticated, handsome, very experienced with women, a seducer with a touch of cruelty, mid to late 30s (bass baritone) (sings 3 songs)



Homais

Town pharmacist, businessman, talkative, servile yet strong, mid 50s (bass baritone) (sings 3 songs)



Townspeople

Priest, 2 townsmen, old man, valet, young girl, maid, 2 bailiffs, hotel porter (singers and dancers who can play multiple roles and understudy)
