I have been a semi-professional photographer for a long time with my primary job being in multimedia design (video, post-production editing, etc.) I photograph nearly all styles, from portraiture to head shots to conceptual to fashion to alternative to artistic nudes. I am hoping to find contacts for collaboration (models, make up artists, body painters, etc.). Usually my intended audience would view the final photos in an art gallery, a magazine or book. I also take photos specifically to test concepts for more formal shoots later.
I am quite busy, so I rarely travel more than around an hour away but I am willing to consider any option for trading, shooting, etc.. Just drop an email if you have a question. Very laid-back/casual but professional demeanor. "Test" shots (aka TFP/TFCD with generous usage rights given to everyone involved are fine by me.) Also, I am fine with models who only work on paid projects. If you take a look at my portfolio and would like to work with me, please feel free to write or add me to your friends. Similarly, if I like your portfolio and want to have you work on a project sometime, I will likely send a friend request before my first contact regarding a job as I often have series planned months in advance as well as ongoing series that I add to all the time.
A primary concern for me is the comfort of everyone involved with a shoot. If you are not comfortable with a concept or style of a shoot, please let me know and we can make things work for everyone. I will probably want to talk with you regarding your preferences, personality, interests, likes & dislikes, etc. before we actually start shooting. I prefer building long term relationships with people I have fun working with. Also, I encourage bringing an escort to any shoot or meeting.
I firmly believe that when trust is established and the effort is a truly collaborative activity that the results of the shoot will reflect the positively atmosphere on the set/location. So please feel welcome to bring your ideas and aesthetic sensibility as part of the process!
